1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Publishme AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information when registering.
One person may not maintain multiple free accounts.

3. Intellectual Property — Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create on Publishme AI — including stories, characters, world elements, and notes. We claim no rights to your intellectual property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI on your behalf is provided to you. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of any AI-generated text before publishing. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or quality of AI outputs.

The AI Score feature tracks the ratio of AI-generated to human-written content. If you publish content with a high AI score, you are responsible for disclosing AI involvement as required by publishers or applicable law.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to create or distribute:

Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
Plagiarised content presented as original
Content that violates applicable laws
Spam, malware, or harmful code
Content that harasses, threatens, or harms individuals

6. Plagiarism

If our plagiarism detection flags your content, you will be notified and required to acknowledge the risk before publishing. Publishing plagiarised material is entirely at your own risk and responsibility. We are not liable for any legal consequences arising from plagiarised content.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 7 days of a charge.
Downgrading your plan takes effect at the next billing cycle.

8. Collaboration

When you invite collaborators, you are responsible for the permissions you grant. The project owner (you) retains superadmin rights and is responsible for crediting co-authors appropriately.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your content will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Publishme AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
